From 24-28 October 2010, the 4t Session of the State Parties to the UNCAC was held in Marrakesh, Marocco. As an invited speaker I took part in the Workshop on Engaging Citizens to Strengthen Accountability and Prevent Corruption. This workshop was organised by UNDESA in the framework of the Millennium Development Goals. The eCitizen Charter was selected as an instrument that empowers civil society to further social accountability in the fight against corruption.
